Daily Fantasy Hockey DFS Value Update – April 10

Senators

Toronto Maple Leafs at Florida Panthers

With the Maple Leafs officially eliminated from the playoffs, I’m sure we’ll see some of their best hockey now. I’m not sure how good their “best” hockey is but hey, it’ll be better than 10 regulation losses in 12 games. The power play has gone just 2-for-17 in their last six games, though that should improve against a fairly hapless Panthers penalty kill. With Joffrey Lupul out, though, it’ll mess up their bottom nine so I’m not sure I’d look past the top line for value.

Florida, much like Toronto, has nine regulation losses in their last 11 games and they have given up 40 goals against in that stretch. With Roberto Luongo back in net tonight, though, maybe things get a little bit better. As a whole, I’d rather just avoid this team from a DFS standpoint though.

When two bad teams with nothing to play for play each other, it’s curious as to what the result will be. Will they try to out-bad each other and give up five or six goals against? Or will they try to prove their superiority over their bad brethren?

I’ll put my money on a Leafs stack tonight though I’ll probably avoid the goaltending. Though Drew MacIntyre getting his first start for the Leafs is kind of interesting for GPP plays.
