Daily Fantasy Hockey DFS Value Update – April 10

Senators

Philadelphia Flyers at Tampa Bay Lightning

One of the few games today with playoff implications, a Flyers regulation loss combined with a Rangers regulation/overtime win means that the Rangers get home ice for the likely series between these two. Tampa Bay is also fighting for home ice in the first round and a regulation loss tonight would all-but-seal their fate of starting round one on the road.

The Flyers have scored 10 goals in their last two games but to be fair, those were games against the Sabres and Panthers. They had just 12 goals in their seven games before those two so I’m not buying that this team is back on the right track offensively. The team is just 10-percent on the power play in their last six games as well.

Tampa Bay got some bad-ish news yesterday after they found out that goaltender Ben Bishop will not be with the team for the rest of the regular season. AHL goalie Kristers Gudlevskis got the call-up, though it will be Anders Lindback in net for this one.

The Lightning have scored 10 goals in two games against the Flyers this year and with Lindback in net for Tampa Bay, the Flyers might score 10 themselves tonight. I will avoid both goalies completely and look at value skaters from the respective power plays for some value.
