Montréal Canadiens at St. Louis Blues The Habs have seemed to plug the hole in the boat, having won two of their last three after back-to-back losses. It still just gives them a 2-3 record in their last five, but at least there are a couple wins in there. The problem is goal scoring as they have just six of them in those last five games, three of them on the power play. St. Louis should see some of their players returning to the lineup tonight: https://twitter.com/Left_Wing_Lock/status/413716499770007552 So that’s at least one man back. The Blues have been playing average hockey for a while now, having gone just 4-4-1 in their last nine games. Other than the misstep in Ottawa, there hasn’t been too much out of line, though; the Blues are beating worse teams than them (Columbus, Toronto, Winnipeg, New York Islanders) and losing to teams that are at least as good as them, if not better (San Jose x2, Los Angeles, Anaheim). Tonight’s game would fall under the “teams they should beat” parameters. St. Louis is a very good home team and Montréal is having problem scoring goals. This game’s is all about the Blues, though it might not be that high-scoring.
