Daily Fantasy Hockey Value Update – December 19

Calgary Flames at Detroit Red Wings Calgary is in the midst of what can only be called a successful Eastern trip for them, having gone 1-1-1 so far and playing another tightly-checked, though losing, contest against Boston. Detroit continues their slide, as they are 2-5-2 in their last nine games, and they have now lost five straight games at home by a combined score of 20-7. This is a tale of two teams; Calgary is playing better defensively than they were even a month ago, while Detroit can’t beat anybody. With Calgary playing so well as a team, and Detroit having not cracked 30 shots on goal in seven straight games, it might be a sneaky play to get Karri Ramo in your lineups, considering his price and matchup. This won’t be a high-scoring game, much like Boston/Buffalo shouldn’t be, but there are cheap options in net that can help you focus elsewhere.
