Minnesota Wild at Pittsburgh Penguins After going on a pretty good slide, the Wild have gone 5-3 over their last eight games, with some pretty impressive wins over Colorado, San Jose and Chicago. Pittsburgh, meanwhile, has won five in a row, one started by Jeff Zatkoff, and largely without a good portion of their lineup. The good news is that they’ll at least get James Neal back tonight, now that he has finished serving his five-game suspension for kneeing Brad Marchand in the head. Minnesota has been a much better home team than road team this year; the Wild are 1-4-1 in their last six games on the road, their lone win a 2-1 shootout win in Colorado. In fact, the Wild have one regulation win on the road since November 1st, a span of 11 games away from Xcel Energy Centre. In just one of those games (their only win, in fact) have the Wild scored 4+ goals. With Jeff Harding on the injured reserve, Niklas Backstrom will be getting the start tonight. For Pittsburgh, it’s either M-A Fleury on a back-to-back or Jeff Zatkoff. Either way, there’s no sure bet in net, and even less on the ice. I would mix and match a couple of players, but I’m not looking to this game for many players.
