Vancouver Canucks at Dallas Stars The Canucks are probably the hottest team in the NHL, having gone 7-0-1 this month, outscoring their opponents 26-10 over those games. That includes wins in Carolina and Nashville, with a shootout loss in Minnesota their last time out. Dallas, for all their problems playing consistent hockey, are a fun team to watch. They have scored 11 goals in their last three games and are 3-1-2 overall in their last six home games. These two teams met about a month ago in Vancouver, a 2-1 Dallas win. In that game, the Sedin line and the Seguin line were matched against each other for most of the game. The Seguin line had three shifts away from the Sedins, and managed to score on one of them. The other Dallas goal was scored by their second line, while Vancouver’s lone goal was with the man advantage. In short, I would look for coach Lindy Ruff try to get the Seguin line away from the Sedin line, and if he doesn’t, this game is all about secondary scoring. I wouldn’t stack the Stars players, but I’m more inclined to take them than Canucks players tonight. Both goalies are to be avoided, in my opinion.
