Daily Fantasy Hockey: Line Stacks For Oct. 29

Daily fantasy hockey advice, DFS

We have eight games going in the NHL tonight. I wish the NHL could balance the schedules out better (only three games last night) but it is what it is. There are some solid lines to look at for tonight’s games as well as some great value stacks. Lets dive in!

Top Stack- $19,900

Max Pacioretty ($7,700) Tomas Plekanec ($6,000) Brendan Gallagher (5,400) are the top stack of the night. The Canadiens CorsiFor is ranked second in the league right behind the Dallas Stars. Like I have said before, the Oilers D can be leaky at times and I fully expect this line to light up the lamp a few times tongiht. Pacioretty is a premier player in this league and he continues to show why. He has 37 SOG with 7 goals and 4 assists through 10 games while averaging 18:36 min/game with 3:08 coming on the power play. His line mates have to love playing with a player of his caliber as they are putting up good numbers as well. Plekanec has 5 goals and 5 assists through 10 games while the young Gallagher has 4 goals and 5 assists in that same span. I am almost certain that this line gets it done tonight and I will be all over them tonight.

Other options: Jamie Benn, Tyler Seguin, Cody Eakin– if they are on the same line ($20,900) John Tavares, Josh Bailey and Ryan Strome ($17,000)

Mid Stack- $17,400

It’s time to pick on the Colorado Avalanche. They rank dead last in CF% and give up a TON of shots. Steven Stamkos ($7,400) Jonathan Drouin (4,600) Ryan Callahan (5,400). This line has yet to really get it going but I see that ending tonight in Tampa vs this Av’s team that is having all sorts of trouble. Stamkos is an elite sniper in the NHL and averages around a point per game in his career. Drouin was the third overall pick in the 2013 draft and is loaded with talent. Drouin has 5 assists on the year and 1 goal. Colorado is downright miserable so far this year. This line should not have any issues putting up some serious points tonight.

Other options: David Perron, Evgeni Malkin and Phil Kessel.

Contrarian Stack- $13,400

The New Jersey Devils first line carries some serious value with it going against a Philadelphia Flyers team that has had trouble keeping the puck out of the net. Mike Cammalleri ($5,200) Adam Henrique ($4,800) and Lee Stempniak (3,400) are all in play for me tonight. Henrique and Cammalleri have been clicking the last few games together and should continue tonight vs the Broad Street Bullies. This should be an extremely low owned stack tonight making it a great contrarian play in GPP’s. Cammalleri continues to get it done in the NHL and has 3 goals and 8 assists through 9 games. Henrique comes into tonight with 6 goals and 3 assists while Stempniak has a respectable 2 goals and 5 assists. Expect this line to get some good scoring chances vs the Flyers defense and hopefully they are able to convert them into a few goals.

Other options: Not sure how contrarian this stack will be but I like it quite a bit. Ondrej Palat, Tyler Johnson and Nikita Kucherov.

That’s it for tonight. Leave some comments below or hit me up on twitter @afish84 if you have any questions or concerns. Good luck tonight!
