Daily Fantasy Hockey DFS Value Update – April 4

Edmonton Oilers at Phoenix Coyotes

Both teams have lost three games in a row and have averaged 3.5 goals against per game combined. In three games against the Coyotes this year, the Oilers have given up 14 goals against and no less than four in a game. One thing the Oilers have done of late in their games is score some goals; they are averaging 2.5 goals for per game in their last four games and that includes a shutout where they still managed 26 shots. Part of this is that the trio of Hall/Nugent-Hopkins/Eberle is now seemingly a solid line game in and out.

Phoenix is going through a little dry spell as they’re shooting just 2.4-percent over their last three games, losing all three. Those streaks tend to stop rather quickly, as no one that is a playoff-ish team in the West can maintain that low of a shooting rate for long. They are still relying on Thomas Greiss in net, though he is far from the cause of their recent struggles.

This could be a high-scoring game as there has been 31 goals scored between the two of them in their four games against each other. The Coyotes have won all four games, in case owners are looking for a fairly certain win. There is no guarantee for a low goals against average, though.
