Daily Fantasy Baseball DFS Value Update and Lineup – May 30

Washington Nationals pitcher Stephen Strasburg

Baltimore Orioles (Gonzalez) at Houston Astros (Oberholtzer)

Gonzalez has pitched well recently but the Astros are rolling offensively so that makes him an easy avoid tonight. Nelson Cruz seems like a safe start, but Adam Jones has also hit lefties very well through the first couple months of the season. Either outfielder is fine tonight, depending on where budgets sit.

Nelson Cruz (OF) – $9000

Adam Jones (OF) – $5497

JJ Hardy (SS) – $4411

Oberholtzer is a pass against this lineup that can mash him. The Astros, as I mentioned, are rolling offensively and there are enough cheap options that stacking them in a GPP with someone like the Toronto bats isn’t a bad idea. Either way, expect a lot of runs in this game.

Dexter Fowler (OF) – $5529

Marwin Gonzalez (3B) – $3832

Jason Castro (C) – $4295

San Francisco Giants (Bumgarner) at St. Louis Cardinals (Wainwright)

Considering who’s pitching, this was due to be a great pitching match-up. However, Mother Nature can be a bit violent and there is supposed to be thunderstorms right through to midnight in St. Louis. The POP isn’t very high but thunder/lightning always gets players off the pitch. It’s too much to gamble so I’ll just stay away from this one, too.
