Daily Fantasy Baseball DFS Value Update and Lineup – June 27

Marcell Ozuna

Arizona Diamondbacks (McCarthy) at San Diego Padres (Ross)

I’m not taking a single hitter out of this game. The question then becomes which pitcher to go with.

Earlier this week, the Padres were no-hit by Tim Lincecum for the second time in a year. That should give you an idea of how bad their offense is. Let’s put in context how bad their offense is: The 1965 New York Mets are considered one of the worst offenses of all time. They had a team OPS of .604 and scored 3.02 runs per game. The 2014 Padres have a team OPS of .610 and have scored 3.01 runs per game. They are historically awful. McCarthy went into San Diego back in May and carved up the Padres. I’ll use him tonight and stay away from Ross.

Brandon McCarthy (ARI-SP) – $12,115
