Daily Fantasy Baseball DFS Value Update and Lineup – April 8

Jay Bruce

Houston Astros (Oberholtzer) at Toronto Blue Jays (Buehrle)

Oberholtzer has some weird reverse-splits going early in his career as lefties hit for about 70 batting points higher than righties and slug over 80 points higher. I am avoiding the Astros altogether today, actually.

Mark Buehrle is a very interesting option today in DFS. His salary puts him among the cheaper options and he absolutely carved the Astros in two starts against them last year, giving up just nine hits and one earned run (while striking out 16!?!) in 17 innings. I will have Buehrle in most lineups today. I’m a bit less bullish on Jays hitters but there are a couple of guys I might look at.

Melky Cabrera (OF) – $7378

Dioner Navarro (C) – $5530

Mark Buehrle (SP) – $13,882
