Daily Fantasy Baseball DFS Value Update and Lineup – April 8

Miami Marlins (Alvarez) at Washington Nationals (Gonzalez)

I am not really that high on Henderson Alvarez today, partly because he’s not likely to get the win but mostly this: There aren’t any significant samples against Nationals hitters, but most samples there are, the Nats have smashed the bejeezus out of Alvarez. I am avoiding Marlins bats against Gio, as well.

Gio is a very good option today at home against Miami but two things about this: He’s pretty expensive and he’s going to be widely owned. Those looking to separate themselves in GPPs should probably avoid him. I do like a lot of the Nationals hitters though.
