Detroit Tigers (Scherzer) at Los Angeles Dodgers (Haren)

Scherzer is one of the most expensive pitchers on the board tonight and I think at this point I’d rather avoid paying that huge price against this Dodgers team. The Tigers have been very unreliable with their hitters so far this year so I’d rather avoid the more expensive players.

Nick Castellanos (3B) – $4987

Victor Martinez (DH) – $6448

For those looking for a pitcher a bit more off the board, Haren might not be a bad option. He’s in a good park on a good team and the Tigers have been very feast or famine so far this year. Haren in a GPP could be a decent cheaper option that could provide elite numbers.

Dan Haren (SP) – $14,695

Carl Crawford (OF) – $5129
