Daily Fantasy Baseball DFS Value Update and Lineup – April 8

Jay Bruce

Chicago White Sox (Quintana) at Colorado Rockies (Morales)

Quintana looked very sharp in his first outing of the year, with eight strikeouts and just two earned runs in six innings. He was throwing a lot of strikes (74.1-percent first pitch strikes) and that’s always a good thing to see. It’s too bad that he’s starting at Coors Field, because just about any other environment and I’d be using him in a second. Righties mash Franklin Morales, so look at that side of the plate for DFS options.

Jose Abreu (1B) – $7749

Marcus Semien (SS) – $5684

Tyler Flowers (C) – $5164

Quintana has been sharp enough early on in the year that I won’t go overboard on the Rockies. It goes without saying that with this lineup healthy, it’s as deadly as any in baseball.

Nolan Arenado (3B) – $6559
