Daily Fantasy Baseball DFS Value Update and Lineup – April 8

Cincinnati Reds (Bailey) at St. Louis Cardinals (Lynn)

I’m avoiding Homer Bailey because the St. Louis Cardinals should be avoided in DFS on most nights. There are some Reds hitters that have mashed Lance Lynn in the past, none more than Jay Bruce. Amazingly, there’s one under-the-radar name that has done very well against Lynn in the past despite not being really an MLB hitter.

Jay Bruce (OF) – $6493

Zack Cozart (SS) – $3535

There are some Cardinals hitters that have absolutely bombed Homer Bailey in the past and there are good samples to go with it. Even in Bailey’s solid year last year, he still had an ERA over 4.00 in four starts against the Cardinals.

Matt Carpenter (3B) – $5956

Matt Holliday (OF) – $5909

Yadier Molina (C) – $5670
