Daily Fantasy Baseball DFS Value Update and Lineup – April 12

Grady Sizemore

Kansas City Royals (Shields) at Minnesota Twins (Nolasco)

James Shields is one of the best pitching match-ups of the day and even with his elite pricing, I have no problem rolling him out in any type of format. I would also look to some of their elite hitters as Ricky Nolasco has looked far from sharp so far this season. It’s probably smart to lean to their left-handed hitters because Nolasco is far more prone to give up longballs to lefties instead of righties.

James Shields (SP) – $19,331

Eric Hosmer (1B) – $6720

Unless it’s a player to help round out some GPP lineups, I’m avoiding the Twins today. I don’t like their hitters matched up against James Shields and even at Nolasco’s cheap price (a shade over $10,000) he’ll be hard-pressed to pay that off.
