Daily Fantasy Baseball DFS Value Update and Lineup – April 12

Grady Sizemore

Tampa Bay Rays (Cobb) at Cincinnati Reds (Simon)

Alex Coob has been solid through his first two starts this year, though the five walks in 12 innings pitched are a bit of a concern when pitching at Great American Ballpark. Righties tend to hit Alfredo Simon a bit harder than lefties, so I would look at a couple of the Rays’ non switch-hitters to help round out some lineups today.

Wil Myers (OF) – $6331

Yunel Escobar (SS) – $4313

Simon might make a great value play today. He’s been pretty solid for a few years now (even in a relief role) and looked decent in his first start this season. His price is pretty low given the competition he’ll be facing so I don’t mind him at all. I would probably stay away from most Reds hitters given the pitcher they are facing.

Alfredo Simon (SP) – $12,209

Brandon Phillips (2B) – $4698
