Daily Fantasy Baseball DFS Value Update – April 3

Minnesota Twins (Hughes) at Chicago White Sox (Quintana)

In checking the weather for this one, I saw “showers, wind, feels like below freezing.” Those are not ideal baseball temperatures.

Two guys that have absolutely mashed Jose Quintana in the past for the Twins are Josh Willingham and Joe Mauer; those two guys are a career 12-for-25 against Quintana with four home runs. The rain should subside by close to game time so I’m not overly concerned about using them.

Joe Mauer (1B) – $5433

Josh Willingham (OF) – $6086

Phil Hughes (SP) – $13,042

Glen Perkins (RP) – $1882

Here’s a pretty crazy Phil Hughes vs White Sox hitters stat: No hitter with at least 10 career ABs against Hughes has an OPS over .500 against him. I am just going to completely avoid the Sox in this one, even Quintana against the lowly Twins.
