Daily Fantasy Baseball DFS Value Picks and Lineup – April 6

St. Louis Cardinals (Wainwright) at Pittsburgh Pirates (Volquez)

Wainwright carved up the Pirates last year to the tune of a 3.00 ERA over 21 innings and 20 strikeouts. Considering he’s not even worth 20-percent of budgets today, he seems like an automatic start to me. Outfielder Matt Holliday has owned Edinson Volquez in the past so I like him today as well.

Adam Wainwright (SP) – $19,879

Matt Holliday (OF) – $6425

Matt Carpenter (3B) – $6695

One guy that has owned Adam Wainwright in the past is Andrew McCutchen: In 28 career at bats against Wainwright, McCutchen is 12-for-28 with six extra-base hits. I don’t like many Pirates today but one I might take a chance on is the reigning MVP who is at a pretty cheap price.

Andrew McCutchen (OF) – $5870
