Daily Fantasy Baseball DFS Value Picks and Lineup – April 5

Johnny Cueto

Atlanta Braves (Teheran) at Washington Nationals (Strasburg)

Fantasy-wise, Teheran had a good first start to the season, going six innings with just two earned runs against. Surprisingly, some of the Braves hitters have good numbers against Strasburg. One problem is that they tend to strike out so I think their players are better suited for a GPP than a 50/50: If they hit well, they’ll rake. If they don’t, they’ll suffer a lot. I would avoid Teheran, in general.

Jason Heyward (OF) – $7941

I have an affinity for Strasburg and he did have 27 strikeouts in 22 innings against the Braves last year, and their lineup has remained largely unchanged since. There aren’t large samples for hitters against Teheran, but this one is interesting: Bryce Harper is 5-for-10 against Teheran with two home runs and two doubles.

Stephen Strasburg (SP) – $22,426

Bryce Harper (OF) – $5818
