Daily Fantasy Baseball DFS Value Picks and Lineup – April 5

Johnny Cueto

Cincinnati Reds (Cueto) at New York Mets (Gee)

Johnny Cueto looked like the Johnny Cueto everyone knows and loves in his last outing and as long as he’s healthy, he’s elite. I don’t mind using Cueto in this game at all. I don’t know about going heavy with the Reds hitters today, though. Gee is more than competent and that ballpark is more than spacious. One guy who has raked in his time at CitiField though is the first baseman.

Johnny Cueto (SP) –$18,847

Joey Votto (1B) – $7347

Being high on Cueto necessarily means I am not high on the Mets. I don’t see Gee winning this game so I might avoid him as well. The only options I would recommend are those that are extremely cheap that can round out GPP lineups.
