Baltimore Orioles (Norris) at Detroit Tigers (Porcello)

It should go without saying that Bud Norris is not a smart option against Detroit. But just to be clear, Bud Norris is not a smart option against Detroit. There are some hitters that would be good options against Porcello, though. One of those who might be a bit cheaper is Nick Markakis. There are others that have good numbers against Porcello, but check starting lineups to make sure everyone is in.

Nick Markakis (OF) – $4852

Delmon Young (OF) – $4540

Chris Davis (1B) – $6277

Detroit should be able to feast on Bud Norris. There’s not much prior history with the Tigers hitters because he spent most of his career in the National League. That said, he’s not shown much as a starter for a couple years. Time to let the big dog eat.
