Daily Fantasy Baseball DFS Value Picks and Lineup – April 5

Johnny Cueto

Texas Rangers (Martinez) at Tampa Bay Rays (Price)

First off, players don’t get started against David Price very often. That said, Alex Rios is 11-for-27 with six extra-base hits in his career against Price and is still cheap enough to not kill teams if he doesn’t perform. Rookie pitcher Nick Martinez will be making his first start in the Majors and has no innings at Triple-A and 32 innings at Double-A. Ouch.

Alex Rios (OF) – $7395

Adrian Beltre (3B) – $6400

In the Rays’ three wins this year, they’ve averaged eight runs scored. With David Price going, it’s probably fair to say they win this one. I won’t start Price against Texas anywhere, but he’ll probably get the win in this one. In that sense, I also like Grant Balfour to get the save in this one (though that bet is always a crapshoot).

Ben Zobrist (2B) – $6904

Desmond Jennings (OF) – $7508

Grant Balfour (RP) – $1838
