6 Takeaways From Week 2 In The NFL

4. Other injuries

Eric Decker, A.J. Green, Jamaal Charles and Vernon Davis were among the big-time players to get hurt over the NFL weekend.

Decker pulled his right hamstring in the Jets’ loss to Green Bay, an injury that hindered him throughout training camp. This injury may be more severe, though.

Davis was using crutches following San Francisco’s loss to the Bears Sunday night. There is no indication of how bad the ankle injury is.

Charles was out early in the Chiefs’ loss to Denver, and “early indications” are that the running back has a mild ankle sprain, CBS Sports reported. Charles seemingly has a decent chance to play Week 3.

Green was also out early in the Bengals’ win against Atlanta. Green hurt his toe/foot, and it appears Cincy will keep its top wideout sidelined until after the team’s Week 4 bye.
