5. Arizona Cardinals
It’s to imagine that Arizona views a 35-year-old Carson Palmer coming off his second ACL tear as a legitimate answer at quarterback in 2015. Clearly, the futility of both Drew Stanton and then Ryan Lindley has reminded Bruce Arians he’ll have to find an adequate player. But who?
Logan Thomas — ehh? Arians can do more with lesser talent, so long that the quarterback has some arm strength and the ability not to be a turnover machine. I can’t help but see one of those middle-of-the-pack players like Ryan Mallett or Mark Sanchez wind up getting another shot in the desert.
