8 Coordinators Who Could Become NFL Head Coaches In 2015

5. Kevin Coyle, Miami

Sticking with the South Florida theme, it’s hard to overlook how stout of a defense Coyle has built down there with Miami.

The unit ranks 11th in defense DVOA a year after finishing 16th in that category a year ago, and currently sits in the top 10 in sacks (34.0).

Coyle boasts 35 years of coaching experience, including being a part of some formidable Cincinnati defenses before moving to Miami and leading a pretty solid unit over the past two seasons. He isn’t a big, sexy name like Jim Harbaugh, but could wind up being a steal.
