8 Coordinators Who Could Become NFL Head Coaches In 2015

Vic Fangio

2. Dan Quinn, Seattle

The recent reformation of the Legion of Boom certainly helps Quinn’s chances of earning a promotion in the offseason. With some key cogs injured for parts of the year, the unit looked like a shell of its former self. But with Kam Chancellor, Byron Maxwell and Bobby Wagner all filling important roles, the Seattle defense is as formidable as it was during the Super Bowl run a year ago.

Quinn was an assistant at Florida for two years and helped the Gators rank in the top 10 in the nation in defense in 2011 and 2012.

Teams in need of a defensive resurgence will have to consider Quinn for the position, given how instrumental he was to Seattle’s Super Bowl run in 2013 and the current run the Seahawks are on. Another playoff push will certainly elevate Quinn’s stock.
