8 Coordinators Who Could Become NFL Head Coaches In 2015

Vic Fangio

3. Adam Gase, Denver

Gase was one of the NFL’s most popular head coaching candidates a year ago, but the Broncos offensive coordinator elected to return to Denver for another year of working with Peyton Manning.

Gase is only 36 years old, but his resume speaks for itself. At the same time, look at the weapons he has had at his disposal in his two seasons running the Broncos’ offense.

While Gase led the Broncos to the NFL single-season scoring mark in 2013, there is always a risk you take with hiring a young head coach. This situation is eerily similar to when Patriots offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels went to Denver. However, a team starved for offense like the Jets could be intrigued by Gase.
