The NFL’s firing season is nearly upon us, and all season long we’ve kept an eye on which head coaches could be heading toward the chopping block at the end of 2014.
There are two main avenues front offices take when it comes to finding new head coaches: navigating through the college ranks to find the hottest coach available, or delving into the coordinator pool to find who has established one of the NFL’s best units of late.
So with only three weekends of regular-season football upon us, it’s time to take a glance at which of the league’s most promising coordinators could be in line for promotions.
