Bowles, McDaniels, Gase Should be First on the Hiring Line on Black Monday

Adam Gase

Defensive Coordinator Todd Bowles, Arizona Cardinals – Bowles appears to be the top candidate, and he will get a boost from head coach Bruce Arians, who has given his defensive coordinator credit for keeping the Cardinals defense together despite a slew of injuries all year. Bowles is smart, knows how to motivate and he has shown that he can make adjustments when first-half strategy is not working the way he wanted it to.

Being able to adjust is a must in today’s game. Bowles has been an interim head coach when he took over for Coach Meatball in Miami. Bowles deserves a chance to work as a head coach in the NFL and his time appears to be at hand.
