7. Legion of Boom has returned to form
The defending Super Bowl champs have not played with a championship-caliber defense all season long, but over the past two weeks — both victories — the unit has been rounding back into form.
Seattle limited San Francisco to 264 total yards of offense and forced three turnovers a week after holding Arizona to three points. Two of those turnovers came via Richard Sherman, who picked off Colin Kaepernick twice in the team’s second 19-3 win in as many weeks.
The Seahawks smothered Kaepernick, sacking his four times and holding to 121 yards passing and a 10.7 quarterback rating.
