6 Perfect Landing Spots For Adrian Peterson

Adrian Peterson

New Orleans Saints

It’s not typically Sean Payton‘s style to have one workhorse running back, but when Peterson is an option the notion must be entertained.

Mark Ingram has been the Saints’ best running back this season, but he’s a free agent come season’s end and New Orleans has a track record of letting their players walk only to find replacements through other means. Khiry Robinson is waiting in the wings, but this season the youngster has failed to make an impact on the field.

Peterson rocking the Black and Gold would totally transform the Saints’ offense, providing it with some much-needed balance in a way that would force defenses to stack the box to stop the power running game. And sticking with the team’s style, Peterson could be a two-down option, bringing the veteran Pierre Thomas or Travaris Cadet in on third-downs to preserve Peterson.
