Nobody needed a week off more than Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo, and the bye could not have been placed better in Dallas’ schedule. Fresh off an overseas beating of the hapless Jaguars, the Cowboys are positioned for a tight NFC East race the rest of the way. With four of their six remaining games featuring division opponents – including two against their current NFC East co-leaders from Philadelphia – the final six weeks of the season should provide unparalleled drama for the Cowboys.
