26. Chicago Cubs (65-84) (LW 23) –The Cubs have had a terrible month, which includes losing eight of nine. And it’s not hard to see why they’ve been so bad. Chicago owns a 5.83 September ERA, which is far and away the worst in baseball.

27. Minnesota Twins (63-86) (LW 28) – The Twins lost four games last week and the only reason they likely didn’t lose more is that two were postponed.

28. Arizona Diamondbacks (61-88) (LW 29) – Cody Ross has been swinging a hot bat since returning from the disabled list. In his first 10 games back, he had nine hits in 26 at bats.

29. Colorado Rockies (59-90) (LW 27) – The Rockies took off on a six-game road trip to New York and St. Louis and lost them all, managing just eight runs total. It’s their longest losing streak of the second half.

30. Texas Rangers (57-92) (LW 30) – The season can’t end soon enough for Texas. In September, the Rangers have scored 37 runs this month, which is the lowest in the American League.
