11. Milwaukee Brewers (78-72) (LW 13) – In picking up his 40th save of the season on Wednesday, Francisco Rodriguez joined Trevor Hoffman and Mariano Rivera as the only pitchers to ever have five or more seasons with at least 40 saves.

12. Seattle Mariners (80-68) (LW 11) James Paxton has made the Mariners’ very good rotation even better. In his eight starts since coming back from injury, he is 4-2 with a 1.72 ERA and a .227 BAA.

13. Toronto Blue Jays (77-71) (LW 16) – The Blue Jays went on a 10-4 run when they needed it most, but it’s still probably not going to be enough. Toronto remains four games back of the second Wild Card spot.

14. New York Yankees (76-72) (LW 15) – On Thursday, Chris Young hit a walk-off home run in a game in which the Yankees were no-hit into the eighth. In the nine games since joining New York, he has hit .400/.400/.920 with three homers and eight RBIs.

15. Cleveland Indians (76-72) (LW 12)Not only does Corey Kluber have 15 wins and a 2.45 ERA, but he also has 230 strikeouts. That is the most by an Indians pitcher since Gaylord Perry had 238 in 1973.
