4. Oakland Raiders
With two subpar seasons under his belt, Raiders coach Dennis Allen was reportedly on the verge of receiving the axe prior to 2014. After re-tooling the defense with veterans and investing heavily in the success of rookie quarterback Derek Carr, Allen’s job could very much be on the line this season.
Could Harbaugh simply move across the bay to Oakland to try and jump-start the regularly disappointing Raiders? It doesn’t seem too far-fetched, especially for an organization starved for success.
