Miami coach Joe Philbin led the XN Sports ranking of coaches on the hot seat entering this year. The front office forced Philbin to change offensive coordinators, bringing in Bill Lazor from Philadelphia to try and improve young quarterback Ryan Tannehill, big free-agent wideout Mike Wallace and running back Lamar Miller.
The Dolphins have been 7-9 and 8-8 the past two years under Philbin, but perhaps a personality like Harbaugh can actually get the most out of this underachieving roster if Philbin cannot.
