Daily Fantasy Baseball DFS Value Update and Lineup – June 16

Brian Dozier

Texas Rangers (Lewis) at Oakland Athletics (Pomeranz)

I’m passing on both pitchers here. Lewis is obvious, Pomeranz is more because the Rangers bats scare me enough tonight. They are a top-five team against lefty pitching in baseball and that’s enough to scare me away from Pomeranz.

Alex Rios is a near-auto start against any lefty pitcher and tonight is no different. I don’t mind using Beltre either but I think there are other third base options I’d rather use tonight. Donaldson is a complete pass until he snaps out of his hitless streak. His price is not commensurate with the risk he entails. Brandon Moss is a decent pick to go yard for his price, though he, too, has gone a bit cold of late.

Alex Rios (TEX-OF) – $6339

Adrian Beltre (TEX-3B) – $7506

Coco Crisp (OAK-OF) – $6834

Brandon Moss (OAK-1B) – $8181

Derek Norris (OAK-C) – $4888
