Daily Fantasy Baseball DFS Value Update and Lineup – June 16

Brian Dozier

San Diego Padres (Ross) at Seattle Mariners (Young)

Tyson Ross is slowly turning into a top-tier pitcher in baseball, certainly no worse than a number-2 on just about any team. He’s an auto-start for me tonight. There might be concerns about his home/away splits but it’s not like the Mariners are bashers and they play in a nice pitcher’s park. As continues to be the case, Seth Smith is probably the only bat worth taking a look at.

Tyson Ross (SP) – $16,569

Seth Smith (OF) – $5566

I’m just staying away from the Mariners tonight. I don’t mind Young as a GPP pitcher tonight, he does have a good match-up and pitches much better at home than on the road. He just doesn’t strike enough guys out for him to be appealing in a cash game. The bats are a complete pass.
