Daily Fantasy Baseball DFS Value Update and Lineup – June 16

Brian Dozier

Kansas City Royals (Vargas) at Detroit Tigers (Verlander)

The Tigers are proficient enough against lefty pitching that it’s easy to pass on Vargas tonight. In 12 innings against the Tigers this year, he’s given up eight earned runs and three home runs. The Royals bats are hot right now and Justin Verlander is not. That makes them a decent GPP stack, especially considering most of their prices.

Eric Hosmer (1B) – $5717

Salvador Perez (C) – $5553

Billy Butler (DH) – $4635

Verlander is a pass but the Detroit hitters most certainly are not. Victor Martinez is pretty close to a must-start tonight. I would also wait until lineups come out to see who’s hitting at the top of the lineup. I would be tempted by either Jackson or Davis.

Victor Martinez (DH) – $8079

Rajai Davis (OF) – $6329

Austin Jackson (OF) – $4462
