Washington Nationals (Strasburg) at San Francisco (Vogelsong)
I’m going to do something tonight that I almost never do and that’s I’m going to use both starters that are in this game in the same lineup. It’s typically not ideal but there are a lot of bad pitching options tonight and independent of the match-up, I have both of these guys in my top four options. I can see Dickey instead of Vogelsong but that’s about it (yes, the pitching is that bad tonight).
Neither team is top-12 on the season in team wOBA against RHP and both pitchers have pitched pretty well of late. It’s not an ideal strategy on almost every night of the DFS season but about once a month, there are nights when there is one clear top pitching option (Strasburg) and a whole bunch of mess after that. Tonight is one of those nights.
Stephen Strasburg (WSH-SP) – $23,010
Ryan Vogelsong (SFG-SP) – $15,499
Good luck and here’s today’s lineup (will be updated as lineups are released)!
