Daily Fantasy Baseball DFS Value Update and Lineup – June 9

Detroit Tigers (Porcello) at Chicago White Sox (Noesi)

Porcello is having a good season but has a pretty bad strikeout rate. That both limits his upside and can accentuate his downside when he has an off-game. I’ll pass against the White Sox. I’ve stacked against Noesi over his last couple of starts and that worked out poorly. Until that horseshoe is promptly removed, I’ll avoid spending big on opposing hitters.

JD Martinez (OF) – $4848

I’m not chasing too many White Sox tonight. Abreu has a decent price but there are other options I want at first base instead tonight. Conor Gillaspie lacks power but he seems like a pretty safe option at third base tonight.

Conor Gillaspie (3B) – $5375

Adam Dunn (DH) – $5906

New York Yankees (Nuno) at Kansas City Royals (Vargas)

There aren’t many great options in this game and there’s expected to be rain/thundershowers through the night. I’d just avoid this one altogether.
