Oakland Athletics (Milone) at Tampa Bay Rays (Bedard)

The Rays are a bottom-third team against lefty pitching, if the outing last night from Drew Pomeranz wasn’t enough to convince people of this. I have no problem with using Milone as a cheap third pitcher tonight. There are some Oakland hitters that have killed lefties this year, so hopefully they can get to Bedard in this one.

Tommy Milone (SP) – $11,564

Derek Norris (C) – $5966

Yoenis Cespedes (OF) – $7255

Bedard has given up just two earned runs in his last four outings which is a massive turn-around considering he gave up eight in his first 9.2 innings this year. I just worry about starting about any pitcher against this A’s offense. I’ll be a bit light around their hitters tonight, too.
