Daily Fantasy Baseball DFS Value Update and Lineup – May 19

Chicago White Sox (Carroll) at Kansas City Royals (Vargas)

Scott Carroll, even against the Royals, is a complete non-starter today. Also, the best regular White Sox hitter against lefty pitching so far this year has been Jose Abreu and he’s on the disabled list now. I’ll tread lightly around their hitters against the lefty Vargas.

Gordon Beckham (2B) – $5399

Jason Vargas will be one of my top pitching targets today outside of the expensive guys. He’s pitched pretty well this year; he has two blow-up starts (11.1 IP, 12 ER) and the other seven have been very solid (48.2 IP, 8 ER). I’ll have him on most rosters tonight. I will also be targeting quite a few Royals hitters against Carroll in anticipation that he blows up against lefties tonight.!–nextpage–>
