The 2014 NFL Draft takes place on Thursday and before it gets underway, and we find out the destinations of the top signal callers in the draft, I thought it would be a good idea to put together some redraft 2-QB fantasy football ADP.

Ryan McDowell of DynastyLeagueFootball.com has already gathered ADP data for 2-QB dynasty leagues, but there wasn’t really anything out there in regards to re-draft 2-QB ADP.

During the month of April, five 2-QB redraft mock drafts were held, and the always helpful Étienne Groulx was able to gather the draft results and provide us with some 2-QB redraft ADP.

Now, before we get into it, as always, I want to remind you that the 2-QB ADP is based on a small sample size (five mocks), and there was some miscommunication on my part with drafters.

Some didn’t get the redraft memo, others didn’t know a D/ST and Kicker were required to be drafted, and I mishandled the inclusion of rookies in the first two mocks. But, it’s okay, because in the end, they’re just mock drafts. We use mocks as learning experiences and to hone our draft strategies.

The 2-QB redraft ADP is available for your downloading pleasure in this Excel Spreadsheet: 2014 Pre-NFL Draft 2-QB ADP. It has been broken down into two parts: overall ADP and positional ADP.

In total, 37 quarterbacks were drafted, including four rookies (Johnny Manziel, Blake Bortles, Teddy Bridgewater, and Derek Carr). Below is the quarterback portion of the 2-QB redraft ADP:

QB ADP Rank
Peyton Manning 5.2 QB1
Aaron Rodgers 5.2 QB2
Drew Brees 7.8 QB3
Andrew Luck 8.4 QB4
Matthew Stafford 14.6 QB5
Nick Foles 21.2 QB6
Cam Newton 24.2 QB7
Matt Ryan 30 QB8
Robert Griffin III 33.6 QB9
Russell Wilson 33.8 QB10
Tony Romo 35.8 QB11
Tom Brady 36.6 QB12
Colin Kaepernick 38.8 QB13
Jay Cutler 46.6 QB14

Ryan Tannehill 53.4 QB16
Andy Dalton 57 QB17
Ben Roethlisberger 64.2 QB18
Alex Smith 69.3 QB19
Johnny Manziel 75 QB20
Joe Flacco 87.6 QB21
Sam Bradford 98.6 QB22
Carson Palmer 99.5 QB23
E.J. Manuel 102.7 QB24
Matt Cassel 109 QB25
Eli Manning 113.2 QB26
Blake Bortles 115 QB27
Josh McCown 115.7 QB28
Teddy Bridgewater 118 QB29
Brian Hoyer 120.8 QB30
Michael Vick 122.8 QB31

Derek Carr 135 QB33
Matt Schaub 143.5 QB34
Geno Smith 144 QB35
Mike Glennon 145 QB36
Brock Osweiler 146 QB37

As you can see, the top of the quarterback ADP chart includes the usual ‘Big-three’ of Peyton Manning, Aaron Rodgers, and Drew Brees. Each sporting a first round ADP. And there’s Andrew Luck crashing the first round 2-QB ADP party.

With more 2-QB mocks and real 2-QB drafts taking place, and the 2014 NFL Draft finally happening, which will give us some clarity on the landing spots of college quarterback prospects, this 2-QB ADP will surely change. It always does.

I’ll be going over the ADP in more detail later on here on XN Sports, but for now, I just wanted the data out there so we can compare and contrast pre and post-2014 NFL Draft ADP data for 2-QB fantasy football leagues.
