Daily Fantasy Baseball DFS Value Update and Lineup – April 29

Edwin Encarnacion

Pittsburgh Pirates (Morton) at Baltimore Orioles (Tillman)

Charlie Morton hasn’t pitched particularly well this year and a lot of it is his control. If he can’t keep guys off base against the Orioles, even without Chris Davis, I’ll still shy away. I don’t know if I’m very high on their hitters against Chris Tillman, either.

Pedro Alvarez (3B) – $5490

Tillman is a medium-ranged pitcher today and typically that would be pretty good value. He has been lit up in his last two starts, though, giving up 10 earned runs in his last 10.2 innings. He’s risky, so maybe better suited for a GPP, but I might still be tempted today regardless. The prices are getting high for the Orioles, so I’ll just pick a couple of their value plays.

J.J. Hardy (SS) – $4324

Jonathan Schoop (2B) – $4380
