San Diego Padres (Stults) at San Francisco Giants (Cain)
It’s amazing to me that Eric Stults isn’t the cheapest pitcher today. I would like to target the Padres hitters but I have no idea what to expect out of Matt Cain tonight. I think I’d rather just look for a cheap punt hitter and avoid the rest of the team.
Chris Denorfia (OF) – $5782
For all kinds of leagues, tonight is a good litmus test for Matt Cain. He did have a very good outing against these Padres 11 days ago, though, so I think I would be willing to take part in this litmus test. Some of their hitters have done very well in their history against Stults, too.
