Daily Fantasy Baseball DFS Value Update and Lineup – April 29

Chicago Cubs (Samardzija) at Cincinnati Reds (Simon)

Jeff Samardzija has been lights out this year but it’s a trade-off so far: fewer walks and hits but fewer strikeouts as well. One of those starts has already been a carving of Cincinnati. With the Reds struggling to score runs of late, Samardzija is a good risk tonight. I’m not excited about their hitters against Alfredo Simon, though.

Jeff Samardzija (SP) – $17,067

Starlin Castro (SS) – $5070

Simon has been very good this year in his own right but his numbers suggest a big crash coming pretty soon. It doesn’t matter as he’s not offered on DS today. I’ll avoid their hitters tonight, too.
