Daily Fantasy Baseball DFS Value Update – April 15

Matt Holliday

Washington Nationals (Strasburg) at Miami Marlins (Koheler)

Strasburg faced the Marlins last week and went 6.2 innings with one earned run and 12 strikeouts. There’s a reason he’s the most expensive pitcher today. Those that can fit him, go right ahead. I’d rather save some money and go for Cliff Lee or Gerrit Cole, though. There’s nothing but small samples for Washington hitters against Koehler, so a lot of it will be value-based.

Bryce Harper (OF) – $7431

Danny Espinosa (2B) – $4301

Koheler started against Washington last week and actually didn’t fare too poorly: five hits, two walks, two earned runs, six strikeouts in six innings. For an extremely cheap option, I like Koehler today in a pitcher’s duel(ish). I would avoid their hitters against Strasburg, though. Even Giancarlo.

Tom Koehler (SP) – $10,818
