Daily Fantasy Baseball DFS Value Update – April 15

Matt Holliday

Colorado Rockies (Nicasio) at San Diego Padres (Erlin)

Nicasio did very well against the Padres last year, with just eight hits and three walks in 12 innings with 14 strikeouts to go along with it. The Padres haven’t really hit their stride offensively yet so I will be tempted with Nicasio in a lot of lineups tonight considering his price is reasonable. The hitters are a bit pricy considering they’re in Petco, though.

Juan Nicasio (SP) – $14,310

Robbie Erlin is a bit interesting because he’s at home and in his very small career sample, he’s done much better in Petco (2.18 ERA, 0.91 WHIP) than he has on the road (7.06 ERA, 1.75 WHIP). Whether or not DFSers want to risk him against Colorado is up to them, but he’s a guy who doesn’t walk a lot so even if they hit him hard, damage could be minimal.

Robbie Erlin (SP) – $13,135

Seth Smith (OF) – $3837
